With Christmas coming up, it’s been decided that we, FNC, as a group, will be having our very own seasonal event in the form of… [ drumroll ] A SECRET SANTA! In this post, you will find the mechanics of the event. Please read thoroughly and don’t be afraid to ask questions if anything is unclear. (Don’t worry, Daepyonim and Director Kim are not to be a part of this…)

MAKE A WISH.

Everyone who wants to join needs to send in a wish profile by December 1st. Sending in your wishlist is equivalent to signing up for the event. Please only sign up if you believe that you can follow through to the end with the event.

Assignments will be sent out on December 2nd (12/02).

SPREAD GOOD CHEER.

There are five spaced out sections that are the recommended dates for gift giving.

• 1: 12/ 05 — 11
• 2: 12/12 — 15
• 3: 12/16 — 20
• 4: 12/21 — 23
• Main Gift: 12/24 — 25 (Try to save the best gift for last; This is the gift that comes with your name attached. Also try to write even a short note meant to cheer your recipient up!)

NOTE. Please try to remember to tag the presents you receive as #fnc;santa so your Secret Santa can check if their gifts have gotten through!

We understand that some of you might be too busy to commit to such a tight schedule, so these are really just suggested dates. But if you decide to participate, we hope that you can at least commit to catching up on giving your recipient their due presents. We don’t want anyone not receiving anything after all.

You can send the person your gift through anonymous ask (so if you want to participate make sure you anonymous option is turned on) in para or script form; for example —

{/leaves a paper bag filled with blank composition notebooks—with a tin of Christmas cookies added into the mix; a note is also left behind;} “Merry Christmas! I hope you become inspired to write a lot of new songs throughout the next year and I hope today is happy for you! —Secret Santa

Description is nice and appreciated, but the important thing is to make your recipient smile. You can also submit pictures, if you want—anonymous submissions are actually possible, you just need a fake e-mail (or you can use fncrp[at]gmail[.]com if you want), and you need to be logged out while accessing your recipient’s submission box.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE: This is an FNC bonding event, so any and all FNC muses are welcome to sign up, whether or not they are already listed in the directory. (Of course, it would be nice if you joined up and linked back to us on your page!)

HOW WILL PARTICIPANTS BE PAIRED UP? A random generator is going to be used. Rest assured that we will not be playing favorites.
