Minhwan had no problem with winter, even when he had to trudge along in it down the street in order to fetch snacks for his fellows label mates back at the company building. So once stomachs began to grumble during practice even over the blaring instruments that sounded off through the amps, Minhwan and Jaejin had offered to go run down to the convenience store to please some needy stomachs. Looking up to watch the flakes of snow fall from the sky, he didn’t even realize as the older male walked ahead of him in order to get to the store faster. Either from the desire to get out of the snow, or the urge to stuff his face. Whichever reason it was, led Minhwan to trail off behind a bit to stomp in the snow alone.

Perpetually sleepy eyes finally locked onto the slimmer frame in front of him before he attempted to call out to sound over the ongoing traffic. “Hyung!” He yelled out, laughing out of embarrassment as the other ignored him - and yet again he called out. “Jaejin hyung!” Picking up the speed in his walk, the drummer could see a disdain smirk from the other when he looked over his shoulder, purposely ignoring the younger at this point.

Laughter coaxed with a tinge of snickering could be heard sneaking out from the cracks of the bassists teeth so Minhwan did the same as he fumbled into the pockets of his coat for his gloves which for some strange reason weren’t on his hands yet. Though once his hands found the warmth from inside them, he crouched forward to gather the white substance on the floor and aimed to form a perfect sphere in his hand. Last chance hyung! He thinks to himself as he calls out once again, though just seconds of calling out, Minhwan winds out his short muscular arm as with strength and a little bit of aim the snowball leaves his hand before splatting hard against Jaejins back.

BAM!

Years of drumming definitely has it’s benefits when it comes to throwing snowballs.

Of course his plan had begun to fall into place when Minhwan had volunteered himself for the freezing walk out and into the cold for salvation a la snack, and so he’d nonchalantly offered himself up as tribute also.

Honestly, he didn’t like the cold, and the only nice thing about winter was the snow. He’d made sure to nab his favorite black scarf on their way out of the building, and he folded and piled it up to cover nose, which would have gone sore from the cold otherwise.

What never comes to mind to a wild Lee Jaejin is that, with a plan, there’s not just an outcome, but the actual execution of the plan. He could almost say he’d had a mini episode right then as this occurred to him, and so, while working around this small bump in the metaphorical road, he quickened his pace to distance himself from the other to make it less conspicuous.

Adapting his plan to the current situation, in which his eyes were squinting against small gusts of wind, he’d allowed a few (what he considered quiet) snickers.Obviously this had not been the correct course of action as he was ultimately pelted in the back with a snowball.

Releasing a screech, he whipped around, beginning the painstaking Road to Snowball. All the while, he muttered under his breath, “You’re going down, Minari.”
