“Haaaa?” It’s a sound of exasperation as he plunges a hand back into his pocket in search of his keys; this action by itself takes awhile as if they’d burrowed somewhere deeper than the depths of his pocket. He chooses that moment to speak suddenly, “What are you in the mood for? Don’t ask me for anything expensive, and don’t tell anyone I paid for the food later, alright?”Sunny regretted giving her phone to the boy in front of her, she had a slightly off feeling when she let the device slip through her hand, but she now could do nothing but watch him giggle and slide his bony childlike finger through her screen, “just put your number in” she impatiently reminds him, but when she glanced at the screen, she saw just how close he was to opening all those credential texts that she has received, fortunately he scrolled onto her gaming apps and at that she exhaled a deep breath to calm her down.
She was ready to leave so she took her keys out from her small pouch and locked the door, then she placed her keys into her backpack, “Okay, you lead the way” she said, the kid started walking ahead without glancing up from her phone I want my phone back she though to herself, still worrying over the texts especially when he had that weird look on his face, but she tried to act natural and skipped down the steps.
“Lead the way, boy” she purposely called out to tease him, “where’s the pumpkin carriage at?” she teased again. She took her phone back and with the promise of food delivery she felt relieved but her eyes suddenly widened and her lips pursed when she heard his Korean accent jumbled together with English words, then an image of him doing the dance popped into her mind which made her giggle but she tried to hide it quickly before he ever saw it, “I’ll pray for you” she smirks before running after the boy towards his car.
