“It’s. I think–” A sheepish smile at the apparent trouble he finds in articulating his thoughts at first, a moment’s pause accompanying the minute action and an inhalation names sudden success. “That’s a good question. It doesn’t feel that long ago, when I played in a musical–do you know Sonagi?–for the first time. Thinking about it actually makes me feel old. Looking back on it now, eighteen feels really young, yanno? It could be just me, though. Feeling like one of the elderly has been a constant struggle.” 

A smile inserted here, faint when it was accompanied by that troubled sigh, a thumb and forefinger pinching just in that second at the bridge of his nose; he’s leaning forward just noticeably when he’d said this, as if including one in an especially private detail while subtly expressing his sorrow.

And then another pause, followed promptly by a brief nod as if this were a well developed precursor into his next response. “It’s crazy, how you can actually be someone else. The role given to you, I mean. I think that’s why I liked it. Obviously I’ve only had a few opportunities to do that, though. It’s probably why I’ve attempted diving into it like I have recently. I kind of missed it, I guess.” Now he’s shrugging, slumping imperceptibly into his seat when crossing his legs at the ankles and;

“Even though I think my main priority is music–music is really, really great– doing other things is fun, too. And seeing everyone else acting makes me want to join the bandwagon. Hop right into it. Like a frog.“
