He squints his eyes at the other right before leaning back from his position, “You look like you’re running out of li—I mean, things to say.” His lips spread into a playful grin, crossing his arms to wait for the other’s response. Still, he decided to drop it and lighten the load he was already receiving. “You know, communist or not, I still haven’t gotten the McDonald’s fries!” He exclaimed, throwing up his hands in the air. He was being a tad bit dramatic, solely for the reason that he was getting hungry but it didn’t fit with what they were even saying.
His body leaned forward, keeping the grin plastered on his face to egg him on. “Or my CEO chair, this is clearly disappointing. Today was such a bust with all these hopes.” His head shook, dropping his head in contrived defeat. He picked his head back up and reached over to pat the other’s shoulders, “Please be more sincere in the future.” He chuckled, dropping his hand to his side with a suspicious glance around his surroundings. “Plus,” He continued in a low voice, “We still don’t want McDonald’s to realize that we’re plotting against their French fries.”
His gasp was a pitch slightly too high (but he would credit himself for covering smoothly enough), and he exclaimed vehemently, “Lee Jaejin never runs out of things to say." He inclines his cranium, slits dark orbs in suspicion, "Lee Jaejin has never told a lie. Or anything ever straying from the truth, the whole truth, or anything but the truth.”
He splays a hand in front of him as if there were a wall, stands erect and says, “You’ll receive your chair and hat within the next few days. And maybe I can throw in some McDonald’s fries. Scout’s honour.” Of course, he’d only heard the phrase used once or twice, and only passing, but he was almost positive he hadn’t failed to use it correctly. (Maybe).
