“You’re letting all of the air out,” He pretended to strangle himself— a not so dangerous feat considering he was going about 54 miles per hour on a vacant, bleak, dusted over road, one hand steady on the wheel. He rolled his eyes, “Oh really? Why not tell me how much one of these ‘things’ cost then?”

Though his words dripped with sarcasm there was underline concern that swelled between the cracks. It was unquestionably ridiculous to buy an animal off of a farm, Key knew this. But, he decided from the beginning that as long as he was able to swipe his debit and haggle to his heart’s content, he wasn’t going to let Jaejin go home empty-handed, because his goofs were contagious and Key feared that his disappointment was deadly.

He arched a very, very curious brow at the other’s antics, “Are you okay?” He bite back a laugh that rattled in the depths his throat, only to end up coughing up a chortle or two, or three. ” You say that, but you’re going to the farm right now!”

"Yah, I’m not nagging. I’m just— I’m not nagging. Hmph. I hope there’s some place to buy food on the farm, I’m s-t-a-r-v-i-n-g, and, we’re running out." Woefully, he led a piece of fruit to his lips. "Do you think they sell fried chicken there? Ppuha."

Blossoming yet again, this time in a childlike effigy, he enunciated in a sing-song tone of voice, “Jin, Jin, Jin, let’s take a selca!~. You never take them with me.”

“This isn’t Kill or be Killed, Jim. We aren’t stranding ourselves in the desert, it’s not even that far from the city, I swear. What a cruel joke, kya! You better not talk about chicken in front of anybody when we get there. I hear they fiercely protect the animals like their cubs.” He batted at a wayward strand of hair that had rebelled against the rest before continuing morosely. “And you wanna know why I don’t take selcas with you, ya’ heathen?”

He pulled a sour face before meriting the small pause as his target rise in suspense. He performed a perfunctory sigh and gesture, his pale digits moving to clasp at his cheeks while staying mindful of the cup still in his possession. “You have no variety, Jim- excluding the varying light sources you seem to need for these pictures. ‘This angle, Jin, not that one! That casts a shadow!' I care about the intrigue, Jim. The intrigue.”

He nodded firmly, pulling the top off his drink to down its remains before offering the other a grin. “But look, peace treaty! We’re getting close, I think. I can almost smell big animal bodies. Lookit, kyaaaa!”
