”Y’know, if you ask me—” not that anyone would ask her, she hadn’t even been present a moment ago, but now, there she was, standing tall. “I’d say that this bus ride is a god damn rip-off” not that she’d even paid in the first place, still, she wasn’t fond of it. “Anyway, mind if I sit here?” she points down towards the seat, a gloved hand clasping around the metal pole, to keep her upright as the bus began to move again.
He nodded faintly, only registering what she said after a pause in which he seemed to have a spike in emotion, “Ya, ya! Do you know how much it would cost to do this every day? I could buy a pair of Giuseppe shoes with the money I could spend in a year on this-”
He allowed another pause again before answering her inquiry, “Uh-huh, come on, plop on down!” He made a vain attempt at occupying less space then, waved her over.
